Stitches Veterinary Surgery is Long Beach’s independent, privately owned veterinary specialty surgery hospital, founded in 2024 by board-certified surgeon Dr. Courtney Campbell, DVM, DACVS-SA. We provide orthopedic surgery including TPLO, soft tissue and cancer surgery, minimally invasive surgery and in-house CT for dogs and cats, and most of our patients go home the same evening, to the people they love.

We opened Stitches with one belief: that a pet facing surgery deserves a specialist’s hands and a family practice’s heart. In partnership with your pet’s primary veterinarian, we provide specialty surgical care and CT imaging to the Long Beach community in a calm, welcoming hospital at 2211 N Bellflower Blvd, with the goal of helping every pet recover in the comfort of their own home.
